Notice: The list contains sponsored affiliate links. Read more.
1 Walmart 0% - 4% revenue share.

Walmart has one of the most popular online stores in the US. It is famous for its low prices and huge selections.

The large selection of products is very well-organized with many categories and filters, making it easy to browse.

Walmart is in many ways Amazon’s strongest competitor in the US online shopping market. Another competitor is Target. The Target affiliate program pays more than Walmart’s when it comes to several product categories, including clothing and more.

What commission rate you will get depends on what products your referred customers buy. The rate is 4% for many categories, 0% for some categories, and 1% for other categories.

Postpaid mobile devices pay $10 CPA and the one-hour photo category pays 3%.

2 eBay Partner Network 50% - 70% revenue share (of eBay profit).

This is the affiliate program for one of the top 50 websites in the world, eBay.com.

The commission rate is based on the fee that eBay charges for sales at their site. They pay a share of their profits from sales, depending on the product category. I don’t know exactly how much you could earn from sales, but 50% and higher commission rates sounds good.

The biggest reason to sign up and promote eBay is probably their vast selection of products. A little like Amazon, eBay also has almost every kind of product for sale at any given time.

You will also get access to lots of marketing tools. You can use the link generator or bookmarklet tool to easily create affiliate links to the pages at eBay that you want to promote. This could, for instance, be a search result page, the homepage, or a custom URL.

3 Etsy 2% - 5% revenue share.

Etsy is a huge marketplace where people sell handmade, custom, and unique products, perfect for gifts for others or to yourself. It is a huge website and marketplace which is really popular among sellers and buyers. They have over 2 million active sellers, 37 million active buyers, and over 50 million products. And it is all really affordable!

Currently, Etsy is available to promote through the VigLink affiliate network paying 4% – 5% revenue share for sales as well as through the Awin affiliate network with similar commission rates.

At VigLink they offer 12 different programs for different regions. They also have a global offer and that is paying 4% revenue share. At Awin they offer a USA program as well as a ROW (rest of the world) program and 10 more region-specific programs. The ROW program pays 5% revenue share while the USA program pays 4% standard but only 2% for marketing with user-generated content, and 2% for cashback and loyalty sites.

According to Awin stats, their USA program has over double the conversion rates compared with the ROW program, and also almost double the EPC rate.

4 Commissionfactory Wide range of commission rates.

The affiliate dashboard is easy to use and modern. Marketing tools include coupons, promotions, data feeds, widgets, videos, images, and of course also text links and banners.

They have some really high paying programs part of the network and they are easy to find

There are at least 5 jewelry affiliate programs part of this network. 2 of these are for the Australian online stores called SHIELS and Kailis Australian Pearls. When logging into the dashboard I can see a lot more jewelry affiliate programs that are not part of their advertiser directory everyone can access. Anyways, most of those are also just available for the Australian GEO.

5 FlexOffers Wide range of commission rates. 2-tier scheme.

The advanced search function can be really useful to filter the programs based on several options. You can, for instance, show all programs that allow deep linking, in the category of clothing and accessories, and are available in the USA. This search currently finds 850 matches.

FlexOffers has a dedicated section related to credit cards which require manual approval to get access to. You need to be able to refer at least 100+ credit card approvals a month and have a great website to qualify.

6 Sovrn //Commerce Wide range of commission rates.

VigLink has changed its name to Sovrn //Commerce. They’re still using the viglink.com domain name though.

I really like that this network has so many world-leading brands part of it. Unfortunately, I think they’ve discontinued their 2-tier commission structure.

You’ll find many of the absolute top fashion brands here like H&M, Victoria’s Secret, and GAP.

Merchant explorer
Network offers

It is simply amazing how many brands and companies are part of this network. It can be a bit of a daunting task, however, to browse and find the best offers, due to a lack of information about each program on the merchant browse and search pages.

However, you won’t need to browse their offers at all as this network has three features and tools that will help you out. One is a unique affiliate linking script. It can automatically add relevant affiliate links to the existing content on your blogs and websites.

The second is called “Anywhere” and is accessible within the affiliate dashboard. It lets you paste URLs to product pages on the actual e-commerce stores part of the network and turn those into monetized affiliate links. Note though that you need to have program approval for each store in advance.

The third option is available on the “Anywhere” page and is a bookmarklet. You need to have your bookmark bar showing in your browser and just drag that button to add a new bookmark. Then you can click on that bookmark, while browsing stores participating with VigLink, to create monetized affiliate links that point to that page you are browsing.

If you want to check out this network yourself you can join the network easily with two clicks to connect your login with your Google account. You can also register without a Google account.

7 TradeTracker Wide range of commission rates.

The UK part of the network has a massive selection of travel-related offers including from famous brands like Momondo and Trivago.

A lot of the most popular brands in Europe are part of this network, and you can advertise the ones that are available in your country.

The affiliate network is translated into a lot of different languages, giving it a local feel and making it easy and convenient to use.

They offer an excellent section on their website that lets everyone browse their current offers part of the network before joining. Browse by category or search for your favorite brands.

8 Share A Sale Wide range of commission rates.

The Share A Sale network has been around for a long time now and they have a lot of affiliate programs you can promote as a member. It is actually one of the world’s most popular affiliate networks at the moment. Their site looks a little simple and not too serious, but it is easy to use. The affiliate system is nice looking and comprehensive with many options and features.

The network is especially big with fashion clothing & accessories stores and interior and health-related programs. They also feature A LOT of programs for other categories.

It can be a bit hard to find the good offers to promote though as they have a lot of really low quality offers also, unfortunately, and those often appear at the top of the lists. This is a pretty big drawback to me.

You get access to a big database of coupons and deals as well as gift cards to attract clicks and customers to many of the offers.

Many of the programs have great average PPC values. You can easily see the average PPC of each program as well as how much reversal (for instance canceled orders) you can expect from each offer.

9 Amazon Associates Up to 10% revenue share.

The world’s biggest online shopping mall. They offer an advanced affiliate program that lets you promote any of the products available for sale on the site. A “must have” program for any website owner and blogger. It is totally free to join (as with mostly all affiliate programs). With over a million products of mostly any category, there’s something for everyone.

Up to 10% revenue share for luxury beauty products. 7% for fashion related items. Less for other categories of products. 2.5% for PC & PC components, 2% for TVs. You’ll find a list with commission rates here. Their affiliate rewards are pretty decent considering how low the prices for their products are.

The biggest online retailer in North America where one in every three online sales is done through the Amazon marketplace – and it is also big far outside the USA borders as it is expanding into new markets!
