Why is affiliate marketing a favorable form of marketing?
The 5 main reasons I love affiliate marketing is:
- It allows for the promotion of a specific offer that fits perfectly with your content (and therefore generates lots of commissions for you).
- Once you get a steady stream of search engine traffic for the piece of content where you advertise the affiliate offer you could earn passive recurring income for a long time.
- You get to earn really high commissions. Some affiliate programs pay up to $1,000 for each customer you send their way (check out some of the best high paying affiliate programs)
- I also really like that (from an advertiser’s viewpoint) you don’t have to pay for marketing that doesn’t bring sales. You get to set the terms and know exactly how much you will need to pay affiliates based on those terms and the affiliate’s performance.
- And lastly, pretty much every online store and most online businesses do offer an affiliate program so there are so many great offers to choose from to promote!
