Once you start making money with affiliate marketing you can enjoy long-term passive income. Given that you go the website with search engine optimized content route.

For me, it took some years to achieve enough income from affiliate marketing to call it a full-time job. I went the search engine optimized content route.

Once I started seeing that income from my efforts and now that I can make a living from it I would definitely not call it a waste of time. Actually, creating websites monetized with affiliate programs is probably some of the most well-spent hours I’ve ever spent doing anything.
